Cinema
During the Half Term week, the Everyman Cinema on Southgate Street screens various child-friendly films throughout the day, such as Wreck It Ralph, Frankenweenie, Kung Fu Panda. In addition to this, they run the Everyman Kids’ Club on Saturday mornings from 10-12, with various kids’ films and activities. The cost is £2.50 per child, and free for accompanying adults.

Cathedral
On the 22nd February, Winchester Cathedral will run a Children’s Chocolate Workshop, in which children will make their own chocolates, decorate chocolate lollies, but also learn about how chocolate is made “from bean to bar”. They also run a trail to follow around the Cathedral, leading children to iconic parts of the Cathedral and teaching them about its history, along with activities to fill in along the way.

The Great Hall & Round Table
The Great Hall has a range of activities on offer for children to take part in. They can explore the Great Hall’s history and locate themselves on the model map. Once they have finished exploring, an activity card can be purchased for £2, which allows children to make dragon puppets, shields, listen to stories and more! There are also treasure maps and quizzes that can be purchased at the shop for 50p.

These characters will be free to answer questions on life in the Roman Empire as well as Britain itself nearly 2,000 years ago. There are also replica objects, free to handle.
